Pottery making is an ancient art which is still prevalent and in modern times, people make many things other than pots with the help of new technology, with which they decorate their homes, offices, etc. Even today, people in Bundelkhand use pottery such as pitchers, bowls, plates, etc. in large numbers in their daily lives, so we can say that it is impossible for the people here to live without these things. Since in today’s era, making pottery is a fashion, but in Bundelkhand even today this work is done by people of a particular caste who are called potters and this is their only source of income. These people make pottery, dry them well in the sun, put them in a pit and bake them in fire so that they become so strong that they do not break when filled with water. Later, they decorate these pots by coloring them and finally run their household by selling them in the local market. In our local tour we introduce tourists to these special people and show them how they make pots, bowls, plates etc. and also give them a special experience by making pottery themselves.
